Meet the Automation Champion Harald Murgas who is a Senior Solution Architect (IT Automation/AIOps) in PROFI Engineering Systems AG and became a Champion in the last year. His favourite product is Turbonomic, according to him “It’s a missing piece to make IT operations around modern business critical applications more efficient through a smart decision algorithm”. With more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, he is a person who loves to create short LinkedIn articles around efficient automation features.
Here is what he has to say about his rich career that he is so proud of: “I worked more than 10 years as IBM solution architect for German Stock Exchange and gained the role of an trusted advisor. Now 5 years later I knocked on their door again and briefly later I could start a Turbonomic Proof-of-Value working for PROFI. So my take is: Trust is earned hard, but will pay back for long 😉”
If he weren’t a part of the technology world, he probably would have been a carpenter- “I like working with wood, constructed my own outdoor BBQ station and spend their lot of relax and culinary value time beside work”.
IBM Champion nominations are now open, this is his comment to the prospects- “Choose your favourite IBM topic, note what you’ve done there over the last years and apply if you think you are ready!. We would be happy to win you for our great community!”
Meet Harold in person for his session at the “Bank and Future” conference (November, Germany) along with Deutsche Boerse (German Stock Exchange), highlighting their joint Turbonomic Proof-of-Value approach to make capacity management more dynamic and automise their application resource management.
