IBM DevOps Code RealTime is a new tool for creating event-driven realtime applications in C++. It's the next generation of the IBM Rational Software Architect RealTime Edition and Rose RealTime products, and it builds on their success in industries such as telecom, embedded, IoT etc.
In this session, you will see how Code RealTime raises the abstraction level and increases the level of automation compared to hand coding in C++.
In the product overview, you will learn about the Art language and its powerful concepts, such as capsules, protocols, and ports. Editing can be done both in a textual syntax and in graphical diagrams (i.e. state diagrams all within the popular Visual Studio Code IDE). A step-by-step demo will show how to build your first application with Code RealTime.
