Purpose of the Workflow: predict if a KPI will have issues in the future

Description: This IBM Rapid Network Automation workflow allows us to connect to SevOne in order to understand how the future behaviour of a KPI will behave, and raise an alert if in the next XX hours/days the metric will be over 100%, based on the last YY minutes. (XX and YY completely configurable).

If we add this on top of the anomaly detection alerts that are already available out of the box in SevOne, allows us to add an extra layer of analytics to every anomaly that we detect to predict if that anomaly will become a real issue or not in the future.

List of requirements:

Rapid Network Automation Version: 2022.8 or newer

SevOne Version: 6.6.0 or newer

Environment Required:

NMS Credentials

Setup:

• Import workflow
• Create API endpoint to allow 3rd parties to trigger this workflow
• Create alert that detects anomalies in SevOne (including webhook to trigger API endpoint mentioned above)

Expected Results:

If there is a potential future issue, a new alert with severity Emergency will be trigger in SevOne.
