Configuring Tools in Maximo Scheduler Maps

Scheduler's map controls include several tools in its toolbar. You can customize which tools will appear on each instance of the control.

You can control which tools are available in each map control through the Maximo Application Designer:

1. Open the app you want to edit.
2. Select the desired map control.
3. Click the Control Properties button.
4. Edit the Toolbar items property as shown in the following image:
   

Note that the contents of this property will replace the default items. Therefore, if you want the default tools to be present, you need to set them back:

['RefresherTool', 'FullScreen', 'LayersTool']

 The square brackets at the start and end are necessary, and each tool name must be surrounded by quotes. Separate each tool on the list with a comma, but never leave a trailing comma at the end of the list.

The tools that are available out-of-the-box are the following:

FullScreen: Set Full Screen On/Off.
ItineraryTool: Show Itinerary.
LayersTool: Show/hide layers.
MyLocationTool: Show current location.
QueryNearResources: Show nearby resources.
QueryUnassignedWorkTool: Show unassigned resources in the map area.
RefresherTool: Refresh data on the map.
WorkOrderSymbologyTool: View/change the symbology for Work Order records.
