    It's that time again to gather ideas for the Panel Discussion segment of our quarterly OVUG meeting coming up on October 15.

    Please post ideas or questions as replies in this thread that you would like the Optim User Panel to discuss. This is your opportunity to have your questions addressed by multiple panel members whom have years of experience with the software.

    Topics can be best practices, installing or upgrading Optim, how-to, etc., so let's get this conversation going!

    How about Tips and Tricks to speed up the archive/delete process.  Millions of rows to archive/delete a day and it takes longer than a day to complete.  

    How do we work as a user group and get enhancements into the product that multiple companies would like to have in the tool?  IBM needs to know that more than one company have the same need.

    Throwing out a couple of ideas.  

    • Optim: Best practices and/or examples for Default Segment Sizes of archive files. i.e Fixed Size = 100MB. Pros & Cons for using this feature. What's the sweet spot? 
    • Optim Connect: Provisioning end user ODBC access to Optim Connect Data Sources. It seems as though ALL members of a NAV\Workspace have access to ALL data source in that NAV\Workspace. Is it recommend to segregate data sources into their own Workspace to isolate the access?
