Hi,
we are facing issues when we import ReqIF files into DOORS Classic modules: Images that were inline in the original are imported as OLE objects, so that only an icon appears in the text.
The curious thing is that we have one user for whom the export works as expected. For other users, who actually need to perform the import regularly, the images are accessible by "activating" the OLE and opening it in an external application.
As per traditional Windows / DOORS configuration, we have tried to set Microsoft Paint as the default app for PNG (in the various ways that Windows offers) - to no avail. As far as we can tell, all settings are identical between the system where the images are imported as inline images and the machines of the other users.
Does anyone have experience with such a scenario?
Or even just helpful suggestions how to diagnose the issue and the differences between the two setups?
We are using Windows 10, DOORS Classic, both client and server version 9.7.2.8, and DOORS Exchange Add-On v5.7
