  • 1.  Could we split SCHEDULE table using only an UPDATE sentence?

    Posted Thu October 29, 2020 12:07 PM
    Hi!!

    We noticed that SCHEDULE table is very important in order to assign a node to launch every shcedules job (BP).

    And in our case we have a cluster with 4 nodes: every node has an especial role:

    for example:

    node1: token
    node2: schedule
    node3: free
    node4: external purge (that's right, we notices external is more effective than schedulepurge)

    sometimes we restart eache node for maintenance purposes, however we want to know if we can split or move the SCHEDULE node by only UPDATING the register in SCHEDULE table?

    :)

    Hi Alejandro,

    Please refer to the blog - https://community.ibm.com/community/user/supplychain/blogs/tanvi-kakodkar1/2020/01/20/sterlingintegrator?CommunityKey=0d7202c6-f2a3-4b10-b716-5619d2082d8c&tab=recentcommunityblogsdashboard

    opscmd.sh -cStartSchedulesOnFailover -n{node_name} -pfailedNodeName={node_name}

    The above command helps to move the Scheduler to another node.
