Automated Event Notification - Mailbox Rules Failed

  • 1.  Automated Event Notification - Mailbox Rules Failed

    Is there a way to track these back to the mailbox rule that failed? There's no ID number or anything, just the time of the email.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?><Msg>Failed to obtain a lock.!</Msg> <Status>Failed!</Status> <Msg>Mailbox Rules failed!</Msg> <CurrentHost>XXXXX.XXX.XXX</CurrentHost>

    <CurrentPort>2001</CurrentPort>

    <DetailMsg/>

    Check if MailboxEvaluateAllAutomaticRulesSubMin and MailboxEvaluateAllAutomaticRules both are enabled. Only one of them should be enabled. If you have only MailboxEvaluateAllAutomaticRulesSubMin and it is failing to get lock, then you need to tune it to run at longer intervals for more than 10 seconds. In general, this happens due to high volume, DB tuning (Mostly with MS SQL Serer) etc.
