Hi everyone,

I’m currently managing a hybrid cloud environment and I’m using Intel-based servers to host several IBM Cloud services and applications. While the overall setup is functional, I’m looking for ways to optimize the performance of these servers to ensure that they’re running at their best for IBM’s cloud and hybrid cloud solutions, such as IBM Cloud Private, IBM Watson, and IBM Cloud Pak.

Specifically, I’m interested in:

Server Configuration: What hardware settings or configurations should I focus on (e.g., processor, memory, storage) to ensure optimal performance when running IBM Cloud workloads on Intel servers?

Virtualization: I’m running virtual machines on these Intel servers. Are there any best practices for optimizing virtualization performance with IBM Cloud or hybrid cloud solutions?

Intel Server Firmware and Driver Updates: Are there any important Intel firmware or driver updates that could enhance the performance or reliability of Intel-based servers in a hybrid cloud environment, particularly with IBM solutions?

If anyone has experience optimizing Intel servers specifically for IBM Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments, I’d greatly appreciate hearing about any performance tips, tools, or resources you’ve found helpful.

Thanks in advance for your insights!
