Pedro, Your suggestion made more sense than the original. I was having the same issue with the upload to 8.6.0.2 getting stuck. I renamed the file along with the upgrade test to short and easy and it worked. Great suggestion. I've seen this before with other appliances from IBM.

Subject: FS5200 upload upgrade file 8.6.0.2 stack
Hello.
I have experienced similar problems.
Even uploading the upgrade file through scp using CLI, I have also had problems with the new version that does not show the file in the repository in the GUI, as if it were not there.
Finally there seems to be some problem with the length of the upgrade file name. Change it to something shorter, like "UPG_8.6.0.2" for example and it will work.
For greater security, run a cleardumps command before uploading the upgrade and test files again.
"cleardumps -prefix /home/admin/update" or "cleardumps -prefix /home/admin/upgrade"
Regards
