    Hello,

Recently I wanted to upgrade svc drive firmware, but the downloaded installation file has .pgp extension and it was not possible to upgrade drive using this fix-pack.

I tried via GUI or CLI but it showed me error "no downloaded image found in the package file"

I tried extract this .pgp file and use the iFix but received error for "error in verifying the signature of the update package"

Any idea how I can extract pgp file using md5checksum authentication and upgrade my drive firmware ?

    Thanks

    Som

Not sure where you obtained a drive firmware package with a .pgp extension. Drive firmware packages for Storwize, downloaded from IBM FixCentral, have NO file extension. They are usually of a format similar to IBM_FlashSystem7x00_and_StorwizeV7000_SAS_DRIVE_220121

Files with .pgp extension usually contain a security key or digital signature , used by "Pretty Good Privacy" encryption. Nothing to do with SVC drive firmware.
