Ishwar Fernandes is a seasoned technical architect with over two decades of experience in the IT industry, currently serving as the Head of Technical Architects at CSI. As an IBM Champion skilled in Storage technology area, he has demonstrated his commitment to advocate for IBM technologies and their seamless integration to benefit clients. He is specifically intrigued by IBM High End storage, IBM Power, HPC and AI product areas.
Ishwar's passion for technology stems from his family's teaching background, and he served as a lecturer at the university level and as a Microsoft Certified Trainer. He has also taught Microsoft/Cisco/IBM courses for the US Army in the Middle East and has created complex solutions for clients worldwide. His primary focus is on delivering reliable, future-proof, and high-performing solutions that maximize customer investment. One of Ishwar's most notable accomplishments is creating a highly available solution using IBM SVC (HyperSwap cluster), complete with a bunker/shelter in harsh conditions across three locations. This solution has proven its resilience against extreme temperatures (50+ degree Celsius), vandalism, and even RPG attacks. Away from the technology world, Ishwar enjoyed playing in a band, and loves cooking and painting!
When asked about his motivation for giving back to the technology community, Ishwar shares, " I Love to build and innovate technologies that has not been done before- You think it, We’ve probably already done it!”
