Happy summer everyone! As you’ve heard, IBM TechXchange 2023 is just around the corner and its in Las Vegas. The Data Resiliency team and I are deep into building content for the event, but I wanted to give you a preview of what you’re going to see. In short; IBM Storage Defender, we’re going to have a lot on IBM Storage Defender for you to see. We have sessions and demo’s showing IBM Storage Defender in action, especially IBM Defender Data Protect managed by IBM Defender Data Management Service (DMS). IBM released IBM Storage Defender in June and we’ve been busy highlighting the importance of using it and its capabilities to help support rapid recovery of events like cyber attacks to our clients.
Have questions IBM Storage Defender? Have no worries, we’re going to go from vision to recovery through our entire track. Ram Parasuraman will be there with us as part of our track and will help us with the keynote for Data Resiliency. Shelly Howrigon will be with us the entire time, we’ll cover the basics of Storage Defender as well as how primary storage like IBM SVC is a key element in an integrated Data Resiliency architecture. We’ll have a Defender Heroes with us as well, and if you can find them on the event floor they’ll have some goodies for everyone.
We’ve got a great cast of additional speakers to highlight where IBM Storage for Data Resiliency solutions can support the Minimum Viable Company (MVC) as well as the rest of the enterprise. We’re teaming up with IBM Security throughout the conference and working together on the sessions. I’ll be sharing a session with Jeff Crume to talk about where and how Security and Storage work together to protect data, facilitate rapid recovery and help defend the enterprise. If you’ve seen Jeff’s videos you know I’m going to have to work hard to keep up with him as a dynamic speaker!
In the meantime, you can see the entire TechXchange catalog online now! After the checkered flag on the event drops, I’m going to go check out the planned F1 course, but we have a lot of content for you before that.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at TechXchange!
