YTD Pie Chart Question

Hi All!

I have a modeled metric called 'Asset Cost' for which I have a pie chart to reflect the monthly cost by asset type. As shown in the screenshot below, my monthly chart only has 4 types:

What I am struggling to accomplish is creating a YTD pie chart of this metric that accurately reflects what will be more than four asset types. As an example, the YTD Asset Cost metric (calculated) should have ~10 asset categories, but when I drop the YTD metric into the chart value it only populates the four asset types that align with the monthly metric.

Anyone know how to address this?

Response from our product team: Customer may need to try making the Asset Type a perspective and show all rows across time. By default, it will only generate rows for the current month unless a perspective is used.

I would suggest investigating some of the TBM Community content on perspectives and reaching out to your TBMO/CS contacts to assist further, but hope this helps in the meantime!
