Robert,

From the detail you provided your key for 5770-BR2 expires on 01/26/26 and it should show the same in ESS (Entitled System Support). Once the system gets to 01/26/26 the product will enter the "grace period" in which you have 70 days to provide it a new key. So based on the key details you provided the product should stop working around March 3rd if you don't provide it a new key or migrate to the P11 with new keys applied by then. Keep in mind that once you you get into the "grace period" the system will start sending messages to QSYSOPR staring that product 5770-BR2 Grace Period expires in x days. I will also mention that if your BR2 isn't licensed for the proper amount of core on the system it won't utilize the license key and instead use the "grace period". I have seen where a system was supposed to be licensed for 6 core BR2 but the key was licensed for 5 and the system utilized the "grace period" until they updated the key with the proper 6 core licensing.  Hopefully this answers your question!

Hi Robert.

I had a very bad experience with the BR2 subscription license.

Despite entering the license key, the system kept displaying messages about the grace period expiring (CPI9E75, BRM1142).

And when the grace period finally expired... the product stopped working (BRM1159), even with the correct license key applied. IBM said that wouldn't happen...

I advise you to contact IBM support, and they will tell you which PTFs (vol 1000, not in ptfgrp) you need to apply to prevent this.

I hope this helps you avoid the same problem I encountered.
