 Start Center Customization for Maximo 761

I'm working with Maximo 7.6.1 and want to add a custom iframe to the Start Center without affecting the application's core functionality. Has anyone successfully implemented this? I'm particularly interested in:

  • Best practices for iframe integration
  • Potential impact on system performance
  • Security considerations
  • Whether to use custom portlets or modify existing templates"

Martin Nichol posted a great solution for just this a while back.

Basically, it is a custom portlet with an iframe in it.  I have adapted this a few times for other cases and it works basically exactly as you are requesting.

Hi @Jason VenHuizen,I need more steps on how to 

  1. Implement your customization on Maximo
  2. Eligibility of enhancements for different uses

Also, upon that, do you have any idea how to implement or add a push notification feature to Maximo or how to add a custom widget to any application on Maximo.
