In Bill of IT we have an Adjustment Master Data set appended to the consumption feed master data which would allow for adjustment for current period which will show up in the reports. Typically you will see an adjustment charge (amount) or billable units by service and BU

Our org uses a manual adjustment approach to show end users when a correction/adjustment is made from previous month's data
This is a custom setup so would require some work if your org uses out of the box reporting
