 Missing values from "this period last year"

I feel like I'm missing something very simple. I am trying to get a report which shows cost for a given month vs. the same period last year and it's almost right. But I am missing lines which are not in the current month that do have a value from last year. So what have I overlooked??

@Robert Krauss Be sure to replace the Project ID column in your report configuration with the newly created perspective version.

Try to add a perspective with the option "Show all rows in time-based query". (even adding it as a dummy to the filters section should work)

What version of Apptio are you on?  Since upgrading to 12.4 the 'show all rows' option refuses to save and hence all reports I want to add a new perspective are incorrect..........​

@Claire Thomas - we're on 12.8. Until recently, we've mainly used out of the box reports, so I can't say if this is a new phenomenon or not!​
