We are using IBM BAW 24 version on Traditional Environment running on IBM WAS ND and using embedded BAW FileNet on Production Environment. As per current H/W sizing, we are having 2 BAW nodes with 2 vcpus each. With Production License ratio (1:5), we have entitlement of 10 licenses.
Now, we are migrating from Traditional to CP4BA Container environment, we are going with profile_size medium to map to our current workload, but as you are aware, CP4BA BAW doesn't use embedded FileNet but deploy it as a separate pattern capability and is charged to the same ratio. So, if I'm to deploy the CP4BA BAW with medium profile, I'll be requiring additional 10 licenses? Total 20 VPC. 10 for BAW, 10 for FileNet. Is this correct? or I'm missing something that migrating from traditional to CP4BA requires additional costing (in term of licenses only for this context).
