We have audit table enabled for MAXVARS table which is A_MAXVARS
We Observed that for any insert in MAXVARS table the audit is happening correctly with logged in user ,example if I create a new site,then new MAXVARS entries are correctly recorded by logged in user like WILSON.
But for any updates to MAXVARS table is not been correctly audited,example if i update PMWOGEN where clause,then audit entries EAUDITUSERNAME are happening with MAXADMIN.
summarizing the eaudittype - I is working but eaudittype - U is not working properly and this is for MAXVARS table
so the question is ,is this expected functionality ?
because in regulated environments audit should correctly happen with person who changed the record not with super user admin who never logged into system.
And this is replicated in both maximo and manage 9.1
