MAS Manager 9 / Travel Time Calculations

Hello

Last year I posted that we were evaluating Maximo Scheduler / Optimiser and our use case require travel time calculations.

We now have a MAS 9.0 evaluation environment with Optimiser and Spatial Installed. I have an ESRI trial account and I am trying to find the configuration details to be able to get ESRI to provide the travel times. Map Manager is configured with base maps / route service etc and has my ESRI account details set in Map Provider Options.

We really do not need the actual Spatial object integration functionality just the ability to calculate travel times, display labor / work orders on a map and hopefully get Graphical Assignment Dispatch tab to display the daily routes.

Currently in Graphical Assignment if I use "Populate Destination Travel Matrix" I get errors like:

25 Feb 2025 15:20:09:155 [ERROR] [MXServer] [CID-UIASYNC-180110] ESRI's Token Service returned with errors: Unable to generate token.

96425 Feb 2025 15:20:09:155 [ERROR] [MXServer] [CID-UIASYNC-180110] 'referer' must be specified.

96525 Feb 2025 15:20:09:525 [ERROR] [MXServer] [] ESRI's Distance Matrix Service returned with errors: Token Required

We are in dialog with IBM about this but the ESRI trial is time-limited so would appreciate it if any of you have got this working  in MAS 9.

Thanks

Andrew

On seeing the log message, I think that maximo is unable to authenticate with ESRI.

Could you validate once the below pointers

1. ESRI Authorization Details in Map manager Configurations
2. ESRI Server URLs ; Protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) in Map manager Configurations
3. Web Map Configurtions in Map manager Configurations
4. Map Security in Map manager Configurations
5. Map Services in Map manager Configurations
6. SSL Certificate (if exist maximo needs to trust the ESRI SSL certificates)
7. ESRI security settings

In reply to @Tinnokesh AP thanks for the reply
1. ESRI Authorization Details in Map manager Configurations

2. ESRI Server URLs ; Protocol (HTTP or HTTPS) in Map manager Configurations

https to public ESRI urls
3. Web Map Configurtions in Map manager Configurations

Nothing set on web map as using public:

4. Map Security in Map manager Configurations

Nothing configured here currently and no documentation on how to configure this part:

5. Map Services in Map manager Configurations

Currently just a public basemap:

No layers defined and don't particularly want / need any just need route mapping / distance calcs.

Following on Services tab:

6. SSL Certificate (if exist maximo needs to trust the ESRI SSL certificates)

No idea to be honest, that would be something I will need others to check.
7. ESRI security settings

Again no idea what I need to setup I just have registered for an ESRI trial account which has some credits.
