What are the current licensing terms, and what is the existing message/position from IBM regarding the use of ECM /  FILENET Content Manager (CM)?
If we are interested in using FileNet Content Manager (FileNet CM) based on the existing licenses already available within the UVU environment, is there an option to use it as an alternative to CP4A / CP4BAuto?
Specifically, is it possible to use only the CM component without adopting the full CP4Auto platform?
Also, is it permitted to use a different license model for this purpose

Thanks

Hi Moshe

The CP4BA license includes the ability to install a standalone installation of FNCM -- and this can be containerized or a traditional installation. There is no requirement that you install "CP4BA" per se.

FNCM is also still sold as a standalone product and (currently...cos things are always changing) can be licensed with user metrics (authorized users, infrequent users, employee users and eligible participants).
