 ITP Forecast - Actuals missing from labour activity tab

We have created a forecast for the current month and have imported 3 months actuals into ITP. The current behaviour of the labour activity tab only shows the budgeted labour hours. We want the actual hours to be displayed in the labour activity tab so there is a side by side comparison against the budgeted hours from Oct onwards. This will help us with streamlining our forecast process. 
If anyone has faced a similar issue and have resolved or anyone that knows how to resolve this. Feel free to add any tips/ideas to update the above.

By design, the Activity tab will show the budgeted hours in all months. The "Actuals" months will highlight in blue to indicate that there are actuals in those months, but it does not reflect true actual hours. In order to include this, configuration would need to be done in TBM Studio to include both the actuals and forecasted months and reuploaded back into the Activity tab manually.

We faced similar issue.

The Apptio support group came up the workaround solution. They created ITP extract of Monthly Actual / Forecast data in TBM Studio.   The extract is available in CT after each month-end close.  We can then upload into ITP/Labor. Per my understanding, this is temporary solution. I am hoping they come up more streamline process.
