 Internal Labor - only one month is under allocated

I am working on creating a new model for our CT and in the Cost Model, there is only 1 moth that the internal labor is falling out.  Since the labor for all the other months are allocating and it's just one moth, that leads me to believe that it has to do with the cost source that is uploaded.  I checked the upload and the month with the fallout seems like the other months.  Any suggestions on where else I can check to see why only 1 month is under allocated?

Thank you both Suresh & Debbie​.  I was able to resolve the issue.  I'm not sure which one of my steps fixed the problem, but logged out of Apptio completely, re uploaded the same file and it seemed to work.

Hi @Lily Klevann,

I assume when you say new model, you are referring to the Allocation from Cost Source to Labor. If that is the case, you will need to check the matching conditions of the Allocation rule. Since you mention this is only happening for 1 specific month, try checking if there is any new Cost Centre or Account Code that is being additionally uploaded during that month, as often that is the case.

When you click on the fall out you should be able to see the unmatched records and be able to determine why the allocation rules are not being met. ​

Hi Lily,
Suresh gave some great suggestions for you to check while troubleshooting.   Is this for an ApptioU class project or is this for your company's model?  If it's for your company's model, go ahead and try Suresh' suggestions and if you're still seeing fallout, then I'd recommend contacting your CSM or Apptio Support.  They can open your model and take a look and help you to resolve the issue. 

If this is an issue with an Apptio University class project then please post your question on Ask an Instructor with a link to your course project. You don't need to provide your user name or password.  Instructors have access to all student projects, but they don't have access to your corporate project.
