 IBM AIX to Linux

Hi All. 

Has anyone migrated IBM AIX to Linux, with the source box having various apps like Kanban/Real Time Decision/Data Warehouse/Work-Steams.  Preferred Target OS will be RHEL or Ubuntu etc.  End to end migration.   Please advise.   Thanks

Hi,

There is no direct migration that could be performed, but U need to install fresh RHEL/Ubuntu in parallel with your AIX VM; then install needed middleware/ application SW on top; then migrate / copy your application/workload datas from the source to the target ; test & run that all works fine; then do Final Cut-over / swap from old to new environment and do needed decor/cleanup on old system-
