How to Correct Issue with PM Frequency After Meter Replacement/Reset

I need help with correcting an issue with a hour-based meter and PM frequency. An asset recently had a PLC upgraded and its physical meter reset to 0. An employee tried to roll over the hours (12,806) after the upgrade but he may not have rolled over the hours correctly, since he noticed the PM associated with the asset shows over 55,000 units to go, even though the PM has a 3500 hour frequency. The employee unsuccessfully tried to correct the issue.

After reviewing the METERREADING records for the asset around the time of the PLC upgrade, I noticed that the rollover value changed while the employee was trying to fix the issue. He said he did not modify the PM. I am not proficient with understanding and troubleshooting meter readings issues and what he could have done that caused the issue. I have attached a spreadsheet with the asset's records for the METERREADING table and a screenshot of our Maximo system information.

Sorry if I missed any important information. I would like to resolve the issue as cleanly as possible, preferably using the Maximo UI over SQL commands. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello Daniel.  Once place to check is the Last PM Work Order Meter Reading: field.  What is this value?  This is the meter reading for when the last PM generated.  Sometimes you need to manually adjust this to get the PM reset how you want.  This can be reset by setting the PM Counter to 0 and then entering in the value, using the "Set PM Counter" button on the left side under More Actions.  So for example, if you are wanting the units to go to be 3,500 then you would need to set the Last PM Work Order Meter Reading: field to the current asset's meter reading.  Then if the PM frequency is set to 3,500, once you click save this should update.  If you want to adjust the counter to show how many PMs have been performed you can set that number again as well using the "Set PM Counter" button.
