Calling all Maximo 'Manage' users!

We are updating the naming of our Maximo 'Manage' applications to be more intuitive for users like yourselves. We would love to hear your preferences on the proposed changes, which you can view and submit your feedback via this quick 5 minute survey.

Some further context into the product updates: In our software product user interface, within our side navigation menu, we display the product applications that are available to our users.  We categorise our apps into modules. In the attached image you can see the apps within the "Inventory" module and the "Work  Orders" module.  The modules are green-boxed. (See image below).

Traditionally our apps are usable on desktop devices.  In the past few years we have delivered newer apps that are usable on both mobile and desktop devices, and these newer apps are listed in a sub-module that is called "Role Based Applications". The sub-modules are orange-boxed.

We are making updates to how we display our product applications, which will remove the sub-module name ’Role Based Applications’. With that, we plan to add a suffix to each of the app names that previously fell under that sub-module to indicate that they are usable on both desktop and mobile (versus desktop alone). We welcome your input on the proposed changes, which you can view and submit your feedback via this quick 5 minute survey. We look forward to hearing your feedback!

Hi Bébhínn

Quick question about this survey.  I don't know who 'we' are, I'm assuming that it is not IBM.

In the survey, you said there are five examples given, yet there are only four shown.  Is the fifth, the default, current option?

I can see some advantages to this from the Manage perspective,

Hi @Craig Kokay,

Thanks for your question and interest in the survey. I'm a User Experience Researcher on IBM's Maximo software product, so 'we' does refer to IBM in this case.

I see the typo now, there are meant to be 4 proposed suffixes. I've since updated the survey.

Would love to hear your perspective on the advantages you see these changes bringing to Manage.
