Has anyone used the 445 variant for the Calendar type?

How is the mensal amount calculated after the previous months stray from the budget?

Allso is Costing impacted when using this type of calendar?

Yes, we have several customers using the 4-4-5 variant. While Costing isn’t directly affected, it’s best to keep Costing and Planning calendars aligned if data is shared between them.We don’t automatically recalculate planned amounts when actuals vary. If prior periods are off budget, the budget owner will need to adjust the planned amounts accordingly.

Hope this helps!

Thank you @Juhi Sharma
I'm trying to understand how the data is handled. In a Gregorian calendar type budget each month has a column, does the 445 variant also show all the months the same way?

In the Gregorian calendar, after defining the anual budget in a row, this is divided evenly by all months. How is the behaviour of a 445 calendar in the same scenario?

You can display each period by Month e.g. Jan-Dec  or by Period e.g. P1-P12. Data spreading works the same, it would evenly divide it across the 12 periods. The only change is if you're using Start/End dates for labor/contracts/assets. The values would be generated for the period the dates fall in.

@Juhi Sharma, thank you once again

I'm still a bit unclear, if both calendars the budget is evenly divided across 12 periods or months, then what is the pratical difference between using the Gregorian or 445 calendar?
