 Cost Allocation based on Ratio or percentage to Destination problem

I wanted to allocated my cost to labor but not 100% even I have data relation match.

Example

in my cost source I have 2 labor ID L1 and L2, respective cost is $40 & $60 and ratio/percentage is 40% and 50%.

so based on this ratio I want to receive the cost in Labor is $16 for L1 and $30 for L2, since L1 and L2 is also available in my Labor Data.

Now remaining amount $54 I want to see as fallout so I can allocated somewhere else,  lets say to services where again I have L1 and L2 available.

is this possible, if yes, please let me know the answer.

Hi Bhupendra,

To use a weighted allocation, the column with the weighting factor (in your case, a percentage or ratio) must be in the destination data set. You cannot weight a value based on the source data set.

@Mathieu Dupuis-Doiron  There is one small problem though - so in reality I have one factor sitting in Cost Source Master Data as FTE ration based on which I want to allocated cost in portion (above example - Ratio/Percentage - 40 & 50%). Based on this  ratio my cost will be allocated using weighting factor in Destination -Labor master data..lets say (L1 - 50, 50 & L2  40 & 60) which will be ($8 - 50, $8 - 5= for L1 and $12 - 40 - L2,$16 - 60 - L2)..So there is a weighting factor in Destination... 
1. So shall I consider available column based on which I want to allocated cost and send this information in Destination.

2. or shall I send this information in Destination and then multiply this with weighting factor for expected results.
