 Copy fields from parent to child WO

We have a user that creates work orders from a route via the PM application. She would like the following fields to always be the same on the WOs she generates:
1. Project (WORKORDER.MSD_PROJECT) - free-text field
2. Vendor (WORKORDER.VENDOR)
3. Crew (WORKORDER.CREWID)

I'm exploring using a crossover domain at the recommendation of an IBM support staff on a ticket I put in for this. But the field(s) aren't copying. My first question then is what I might be doing wrong. I'm attaching my build and test. Note I'm testing with Apply Route instead of via PM. I assume it should work similarly.

The second question is if this is the best way. I believe I could use an automation script as well. The crossover domain seems more straightforward and easier to support.

Hello Carl,

I could not find the screenshot of the Look Map in the document. Have you configured Lookup Map to link the field of lookup table with your field . 

Edit Lookup Map button will be available in the right corner of the field in the database configuration.
