 BIM Autodesk Viewer Plugin support for MAS 9.2

Hi everyone,

I'm currently setting up the IBM Maximo BIM Autodesk Viewer Plugin on a MAS 9.2 environment and was wondering if anyone in the community has this running successfully.

I'm particularly interested in understanding how you got there:

  • Did you install the Autodesk Viewer Plugin directly on a fresh MAS 9.2 environment?
  • Or did you install it on MAS 9.1 first and then upgrade the environment to MAS 9.2?

The latest plugin package I found is targeted at MAS 9.1, while IBM Community posts mention support for MAS 9.x in general. Before I proceed, I'd like to understand what others have done in practice.

If you have a working MAS 9.2 environment with the BIM Viewer, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience. Any lessons learned or installation tips are welcome!

Update: I received confirmation from Thomas Knowles (IBM Product Manager) that the Autodesk BIM Viewer Plugin is supported on MAS 9.2.

That answers my main question. The latest plugin package can be used with MAS 9.2, even though the package itself is named for MAS 9.1.

I'll continue with the installation and document the process. If I come across anything noteworthy, I'll post an update here.
