If I understood your question correctly, it sounds like you're trying to go back and change the numbers in your "actuals" data. If I got that right, I would say that typically we wouldn't recommend adjusting your Actuals. That's why we have Plan, Actuals and Forecast. Plan is the budget where you decide in advance how much you want to spend, actuals is what you actually did spend, and forecast is where you make adjustments to your plan based on how your actuals are looking or changes in the business environment. Which product are you working with? CT? ITFMF?
I understand, that in some cases, information comes in later and you have to go back and make adjustments after month end close. In that case, perhaps the adjustment table Jon mentioned would work. It might depend on how that changed data comes in. Do you get a total replacement pull or just some line items?
