  • 1.  Unable to open ACS 5250 console

    After updating from V10R1 to V10R3, I can no longer open the ACS 5250 console.

    Ping communication has been confirmed to the HMC IP.

    Please let me know if you have any additional information to share.

    Hello,

    Activate the SSL on the HMC connection, connections on tcp/2300 are deprecated now.

    It should solved your issue.

    Hello Saori,

    Since V10R2.1040, the unsecured telnet port (2300) used by the HMC is disabled. From now, to use the HMC 5250 console, you must configure the session in TLS, use the 2301 port and accpet the security certificate.
