Restricted OF Prompt: setenv real-base

    On occasion, it has been necessary to change the real-base size in OpenFirmware in order for the LPAR to boot (Linux ppc64/ppc64le). This was accomplished using the 'setenv real-base SIZE' command at the OpenFirmware prompt. I cannot find the equivalent documented in the Restricted OF Prompt guide.

    How do you change the real-base size for a specific LPAR using Restricted OF?

    The latest firmware release (FW950) provides a new macro that can be used to change the value of real-base from the Restricted OF Prompt.
    I will be updating the user guide with this new macro soon.
