  • 1.  Problems with ACS with Windows Update from 10 to 11

I have some users who had their PC updated over the weekend from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Now it seems that their configurations for the i are off, IFS doesn't connect and .HOD file sessions have changed. The Windows group doesn't have a clue. Has anyone else seen anything like this?

    Dear Craig

Do you use Windows group policy?   If so, is there any change in the deployment of Windows group policy for those Windows client users at the same time as this Windows release upgrade?  You may also need to check if the group policy needs any new adjustment for Windows 11 client?

Have you also tried reinstalling ACS (with the most current release 1.1.9.5 if possible) to see if it helps?

    Satid,

Thanks for responding. I found out that the IT guys had reinstalled ACS in another directory. It wasn't the Windows upgrade at all. That's on one of the machines that was affected. I still have to work on the other machine and figure out why the .hod links were 'renamed' - at least that's the information I was given. I'm going to say this is solved because I wasn't given all of the information.

    Thanks!

    Craig
