  • 1.  PHA7.2.6 with AIX 7200-0505: initialization issues

    Having trouble on setting up new PHA cluster  on virtualized environment:
    during the initial synchronization, the data collection on nodes is taking up to 16 minutes and then i am getting errors:

    "ERROR: Could not get lock: 5
    get_cluster_lock(): Value too large to be stored in data type.
    ERROR: Updating the cluster in AIX failed. Check output for errors in local
           cluster configuration, correct them, and try synchronization again.

    cldare: Error detected during synchronization."

    the lpar then reboot 

    any idea?

    Hi Akram,

    Error message indicates CAA is unable to acquire cluster level lock. This happens with problematic/unstable network connectivity. Check the network connectivity and reboot all nodes and then try.
