HMC

I'm helping someone get back data on an old P7 attached to a 7310-CR3, that has a maximum supported level of HMCOS 7.7.9.  The last known patch level for 7.7.9 is MH01699.  IBM docs say that this could be downloaded via ftp://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/server/hmc/fixes/MH01699.iso, but that doesn't seem to be up and running anymore.

I know, I know, a CR3 isn't supported anymore, and neither is anything else I mentioned above, but if someone knows where to find the patches, it would be appreciated.  The user does appear to have the 7.7.9 recovery ISOs and the SP3 ISO.

Hi Kevin, it is still available, open the URL with a FTP prog and You'll be able to download it. Even with the old Windows Internet Explorer it asks for the location You wanna download it to.

So weird - on Friday, when I was attempting to download it- via every link I had bookmarked from the past, the site kept kicking me out via every channel I tried and I just assumed IBM had taken it down because it was so old.  Even trying it from home...  But it's working fine today - I guess I have to remember to try to download it on different days before I suspect it's gone away...
