    Dear Robert

You need to do NOTHING. I just click it and  it works right away by invoking Windows default web browser and taking the System Name from ACS (GDIDYD.dekko.com in your case) and appending ":2002/Navigator/" to it as the URL.

    Dear Robert

On second thought, did you ask the question because you have change the port for invoking Navigator for i from 2002 to a different port?  If this is the case, I just found this Technote on how to do it (not from ACS but within IBM i):  How to change the ports ADMIN server uses at https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/how-change-ports-admin-server-uses.   The instruction starts from the following line:

NOTE: If the ADMIN1 server's -adminPort is changed, additional changes will be required to support the proper redirection from port 2001 to the new ADMIN1 adminPort.

The Technote gives me information that makes me guess that ACS may actually open the port 2001 and it is coded on IBM i side to redirect to 2002 as the default setting. So, if you change ADMIN1 server port away from 2002, the Technote provides instruction on how to do the corresponding change for the redirection.

There may be something to that redirection guess.

    Hello Robert,

did you have a look on this: https://techchannel.com/i-can-blog/add-links-to-web-based-tasks-with-access-client-solutions/

Not an ideal solution but it is better than nothing :-)

    regards,

When I started this thread I was having problems.   I swear that different system configurations were going to different ports and their tail end of the urls differed.  Today I tried all 14 lpars in an effort to gather some of the differences to try to show you.

Now they all go to the same:  https://lparname.dekko.com:2003/Navigator/login

Apparently I have no problem.  At least today.  Perhaps the other day was the result of bouncing the http servers due to the CVE fix I put on.

NETSTAT *CNN shows these ports active: 2001-2012, 2015-2020.

    Hello.
One solution might be to add a new URL button in the toolbar and indicate in the URL the complete URL with the desired port.
This requires to have one toolbar for each .hod

It is not ideal, but can help...
