  • 1.  How to get the AIX 7.1 OS image?

    Hello,

    I wanted to get the AIX 7.1 OS image, but I cannot find the download link from the IBM website.

     Do I need to purchase a license first to download the image of aix for installation and trial?

    I don't recall the url, but if you already have that 
    Are you aware 7.1 is no longer supported?
    It may be that that's why it's not there.

    Hello Steven,

    Good Morning and Happy New Year.

    AIX 7.1 is in Service Extension phase since May, 2023.

    Therefore, AIX 7.1 is not available for download. You will need AIX 7.1 Service Extension contract and a Valid SWMA to avail AIX 7.1 Image.
