I installed 9.8 and everything is good, but the font in all the windows and icons are huge. The menu bar font is normal. Do you know where I can reduce the font size?

After posting the message above I dragged RDi 9.8 to my laptop display and the font appears to be normal. The font and icons appear kindergartenish on my external monitor only. Is this a Windows setting for the application that I'm dealing with?
RDi 9.6 didn't appear this way.
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Patrick,

I have also noticed this odd behavior. In my case, I was replicating my laptop to my 3rd monitor. And when I moved RDi to my 3rd monitor it would distort the font.

My solution was to no longer mirror, but use my laptop as a 4th monitor.

Hope this helps, and if not please contact IBM support so we can look deeper into your issue.

    Response to the ticket

    ***

This is Mike Hockings from the RDI technical support team.

There are a couple of ways that you might address this behaviour.  One way is to. follow these steps:

    close RDI

    right click on RDI icon

    select properties

    select compatibility

    check "DPI scaling" option

    select "System (extended)"

    Alternatively, you can try this:

Close RDi, set the external display as the Main display, then start RDi. Text and controls won't appear enlarged on the external display; they should be now what you expect.

Let me know what works for you.

I used the first set of instructions with a small variation. Here is my response to the ticket:

The options were a little different, but it worked out. Once I got to the compatibility tab I clicked the "Change high DPI settings" button. Then I checked the box for "Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:" Then I chose "System (Enhanced)"
