IBM Rational Developer for i

I'm on RDi 9.6 still, so I'm not much help with my team members on 9.8.  I don't remember ever having to load git/egit, but I suppose it's possible I had to do this.  One member is 'getting errors' but I don't know what those errors are.  It looks like he is attempting to install egit 6.6.1.  On RDi 9.6, I have egit 4.6.0.  My question, what version should I tell my team members to try using, and how do we get it into their RDi? 

For anyone who runs into this issue.  I found I needed an older version of EGIT.  "Adding new software" using https://archive.eclipse.org/egit/updates-6.5 worked:
