    Dears,

    I have Maximo 7.6 managing a retail district, I am using Maximo for service provider to generate bills against meter readings.

    We have customers who had leased multiple units, every unit have a different asset meter reader that have a different usage rate.

    My question here is how can we create multiple customer agreements against the same customer? every agreement here will have a different asset meter.

    Hello, 
      On the customer agreement there can be multiple bill schedules each referencing different usage meters and rates.  Also each customer can have multiple customer agreements if needed but I'd suggest only using 1 agreement per customer.  From experience this is simpler to manage.

    What are the different usage meters the SP wants to bill for?

    But in my case, I have 1 Customer who is renting 2 or more apartments, every apartment have its own water meter, so I want to generate 2 different bills, 1 for every apartment.
    As for Maximo default behavior, I am linking the assets (water meter) with the customer who had rented 2 apartment, based on the sum of all usage meters, only one bill is generated.
    Any Idea how can I generate a bill based on the customer and apartment he had rented?

    The Customer Bill is based on the combination of Customer and Customer Agreement.  So if the goal is have 2 bill for the same customer, 1 for each apartment, then you need a separate agreement for each apartment.  I would add this doesn't sound like a typical case.  Typically the customer wants one itemized bill with all bill lines for each item being billed.

    Hi Darwish,

    I agree with Thomas here - we had few similar scenarios where we had fixed price Price Books, Price Schedules (with % deductions), etc. on one Customer Agreement per Customer. Most customers were quite inclined to have a monthly itemized bill with all the bill lines to be sent to the external billing system.

    However, totally understand that each use case and customer processes might be different, but separate bills like in your use case may cause a lot of administrative overhead.
