Hello CP4I SME's ,
working for an Solution Feasibility to migrate from IBM ACE/MQ ( VM workload) to CP4I ( OCP on Azure Hub stack) workload. the entitlement tradeup / conversion will take some time for commercial discussion ongoing. mean time, I would like to setup on Dev system to review app code and conversion for application services for technical testing. can I use for CP4I and OCP trail License for 60 days ( 8 ~ 12 VPC) and then can get the enterprise entitlement key and replace the trail License key with enterprise key ? , will my environment can use with minimal downtime or do I need to rebuild the system once got enterprise license key.
Below CP4I trail License key for IBM Cloud but this should be applicable for all OCP workloads ? ( IBM cloud , Azure , AWS, Google and on prime?)
I am referring with below link for CP4I trail License https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/cloud-pak-integration?topic=cloud-pak-integration-trial
Try IBM Cloud Pak® for Integration with a 60-day subscription trial. Sign-up to the trial to receive a key that you can use to install Cloud Pak for Integration on a managed Red Hat OpenShift Cluster on IBM Cloud.
Important: The trial is for IBM Cloud Pak for Integration software only. The trial does not include entitlement to the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
Step 1. Sign up for the trial
Enter your details on the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration registration page.
· If you have an IBMid, log in to use your existing IBM account. If you do not log in, the form recognizes your email address and redirects you to the log in page.
· If you do not have an IBMid, the registration process uses the email address that you supply to create one. You can use this ID for other IBM trials, demos, and support features that require an account. For more information, see https://www.ibm.com/account/.
When registration is complete, the form redirects you to this page where you can continue to the next step.
Step 2. Use your trial key to install Cloud Pak for Integration
The trial registration process assigns a container software entitlement key to you so that you are entitled to use the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration container images.
Follow the instructions in Getting started with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration to use your trial license with a managed Red Hat OpenShift Cluster on IBM Cloud. Because you signed up to the IBM Cloud Pak for Integration trial, you can skip Step 1. Obtain a license.
