IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) has supported containerized runtime environments since version 21. The latest evolution reaches the next level: The capability is extended to include authoring environments. The full life-cycle from Workflow authoring through runtime is now enabled on the certified Kubernetes platforms Rancher, Tanzu and OpenShift.

We will begin with an overview of IBM BAW authoring on containers and the evolution of support for runtime servers. Following this, we will demonstrate the steps required to deploy IBM Business Automation Workflow on Rancher, Tanzu or OpenShift.

Markus Reichart has been working in IBM's Workflow development in various roles for more than 20 years. Currently he is the responsible architect for Business Automation SaaS and he leads Workflow installation and configuration development.

Prateek Gulur is an experienced QA developer and SVT lead for workflow SVT team. Prateek has over 15 + years of experience in QA, development and in expert Labs within IBM.

Claudia Zentner

Claudia Zentner is a Senior Technical Staff Member in IBM Software. She is the lead architect for workflow in IBM Business Automation.
