    Hello,
    The path described to request a service from IMS to z/OS Connect is a "communication stub".
    Is it possible to use the IMS ICAL API to do this kind of request from an IMS transaction to z/OS Connect ?

    Hi Edmond,

    The API requester communication stub "BAQCSTUB" is required.  BAQCSTUB sends/receives API requester-specific control blocks and metadata over a direct HTTP connection to z/OS Connect.  The API requester programming pattern with BAQCSTUB optimizes synchronous requests and minimizes IMS system configuration/programming.
