    Workshops capture summaries, not reality. My proposal: add a "Walk-a-Day" step shadow a real user for one full shift and do the work with them.
    Flow: Prep personas → Shadow and do → Log pains with time/impact → Next-day playback → Tiny pilot, measure results.
    Reveals: hidden spreadsheets, extra clicks, messy handoffs, offline gaps.

    • Have you tried shadowing before locking requirements?

    • How do you handle privacy while collecting evidence?

    • Which metric proves the change worked (cycle time, touches, rework)?
