A PM-generated Work Order creates child Work Orders through a route. Both the parent and child WOs are initially in WPLAN status. When the workflow routes the Work Order from WPLAN to APPR, the workflow provides two assignment options:
- Assign to Lead
- Assign to a Work Order Person Group (group of users)
When the Work Order is approved through the workflow, the parent Work Order moves to APPR status, but the child Work Orders do not update to APPR.
Is there any specific configuration or requirement related to the Work Order Person Group - broadcast assignments that prevents the child Work Orders from inheriting the parent's APPR status?
Previously, when the workflow had only one assignment option (Assign to Lead), the approval worked as expected and both the parent and child Work Orders moved to APPR status.
