    Hi Daniel,

Currently we are validating BA client on Windows 2025 and planning to target the same in Q1/Q2 release of 2025.

Hi, we are having customers installing Server 2025 and it seems that the SQL DP modules and BA client isn't playing. Any idea on when the support will be there ?

    Daniel,

SQL and Exchange on Windows Server 2025 would be validated in the upcoming releases.

Perhaps worth trying Spictera Unified Storage instead to back up any type of data using IBM Storage Protect?

Mounting IBM Storage Protect as a drive letter on Windows having all file operation on that drive to be translated to IBM Storage Protect Client API Calls directly.

    Immutable filesytem per design

Hi. Do we have any date yet ? A lot of customers we have now have deployed w2025 server, and we can't use the tool we are selling to them to back their databases.

    BA client yes.

But we need also the SQL or Exchange DP module to be on the same version right ?

So still not possible to backup SQL or Exchange on server 2025.

Not required, the existing versions of SP for Database ( SQL) and SP for Mail ( Exhange) should work with Windows Server 2025.

Here it says beginning with 8.1.27. we have ALWAYS kept BA client on same exact level as DP modules.

    Hello Ulf,

Thank you for the feedback. As the SP product manager I have taken a note of this note of this and will work with the team to make currency documentation easy to follow for customers and our support organization. In this particular case, Exchange SE was announced with a very tight deadline and hence the mix up. No reason for an excuse and we will work on it.
