    Power 9 end of service is 2026-01-31 as per https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/announcements/services-withdrawal-discontinuance-service-select-power-systems-products-replacements-available
    Will the Power 11 S1112 be available prior to that?

    Dear Robert,

    The End of Service you mention applies to the first generation scale-out Power9 systems only.

    Not included in the discontinuance of service are   second generation scale-out "G" systems S922 (9009-22G) and S924 (9009-42G)   and   scale-up system E980 (9080-M9S).

    If hit by EoS, valid replacement systems are current Power10 and Power11 servers.
