  • 1.  Will there be a PAL 2.0.9.20?

    Posted Thu May 02, 2024 05:01 PM

Maybe it is too soon to ask, but PAL 2.1.2 became available today at IBM Fix Central and is V11.8.24. Both PAL 2.0.9.19 and PAL 2.1.1 are V11.8.23. Since V11.8.24 is out as 2.1.2, will V11.8.24 also have a Legacy Client commemorative  release as 2.0.9.20, or was 2.0.9.19 the last one of the 2.0.9.x versions?

PAWL 2.1.2 and PAWL 2.0.95 are both out too.

    Hi Walter,

It's not too soon to ask!  We are still going to release updates for the 2.0.9 release of IBM Planning Analytics Local (on-premises).  There should be a 2.0.9.20 kit with the current version of TM1 v11 released in June.

    Hi Stuart,

Appreciate you won't want to issue cast iron guarantees but we've customers who are waiting for PAL to be supported on Windows 2022.

Is your expectation that the June release of 2.0.9.20 will support windows 2022?

    TIA

I will add Windows Server 2022 as a supported platform for TM1 Server from the Planning Analytics Local 2.0.9.19 release and PASS 2.0.96 as soon as Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0.96 is released in May.

    Hope this helps to clarify.
